Description
On the 30th of March 1939, Hitler’s armed troops marched confidently and fearlessly through the streets of Prague, instilling fear in the hearts of the Jews residing there. While Hitler justified his invasion of Czechoslovakia by the alleged sufferings of the ethnic Germans who were residents of these regions, it was ironic how only a few people gathered to watch the German troops march through the streets. Since the invasion meant constant persecution for the Jews, it was decided that it would be safer for me to go somewhere else.
